Bicycle boxes and sports luggage: plan the vehicle first

VIVA Blue has cycling and triathlon facilities. If you are flying with your own bicycle, include the number of bicycle boxes as well as every passenger and suitcase in the transfer request. Mention any other bulky training equipment so the team can assess the load before confirming a vehicle.

Hiring a bicycle locally is different from bringing one on the flight: list the equipment that will actually travel in the vehicle. A hotel with cycling facilities does not by itself mean that your airport transfer can carry any number of bicycles.

Finding the correct VIVA hotel

Use VIVA Blue & Spa, Carrer Passeig de Bateman, s/n, Playa de Muro as the accommodation reference, and check it against your booking. VIVA Sunrise and VIVA Eden Lago are different properties; a destination entered only as “VIVA” is not precise enough to arrange the drop-off.

Agree the vehicle meeting point for your return with our team. Do not use the cycling station or a sports meeting point as the pickup location unless it has been agreed for the transfer.

Leaving VIVA Blue with your equipment

When requesting the airport return, allow time to pack your bicycle before the agreed pickup, in addition to the drive and airline check-in. Reconfirm the load if you will return with more bags or a different group. Arrival and return are separate requests, each subject to availability confirmation.

Airport meeting point

Gate C, Column 4. Check your confirmation for the agreed arrangements. Allow 30 minutes after landing to reach the meeting point; the driver can then wait another 30 minutes. Contact us if you are delayed.

Before requesting your transfer

Book ahead: Send your request at least 48 hours before travel. Our team confirms availability.
Travelling with children: Include adults and children and select the seat option if needed. Tell us the children’s ages to confirm suitability.
Luggage and bicycles: Give all bags and bicycle boxes. The form checks capacity: up to 2 bicycle boxes with a maximum of 4 people; with 2 boxes, up to 2 suitcases total.
Payment: No advance payment. Pay the driver in cash or by an accepted card. Mention card payment when requesting; American Express is not accepted.
Changes and cancellations: Please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Changes depend on availability. The cancellation link is in your booking email.

Questions about the airport journey

Do I need to declare a bicycle if I will rent one at the hotel?

Only include bicycles that will travel in the airport vehicle. If you are renting locally and bringing only normal luggage, list that luggage; tell us separately about any other bulky sports equipment.

Can the vehicle collect us from the cycling station?

The cycling station is a hotel facility, not an automatically agreed vehicle pickup point. Confirm the hotel meeting location with our team before your departure.
